A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the German forces in Africa: on new locations of their advanced battle headquarters, on May 7; that German forces were ordered not to attack Turkish shipping, on May 5; and that German Air Force (GAF) units are to move to Crete from Sicily, anticipating a British attack on Libya, on May 9.
