Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a listing of the supplies transported to the German armed forces in Africa during April; of a request for clarification of the reinforcements being transported to Africa on May 2; the 2nd Panzer Army reports the arrival of seven supply ships carrying German and Italian cargoes between April 25 and May 1, and also includes a report for May 2 of operations in North Africa; of a German appreciation of the British forces' strengths and locations in the Middle East, on May 2; that Tatoi airfield was damaged in an RAF raid on May 1; and a report of German air reconnaissance of Iceland on May 2.
