A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: that the Panzer Army Africa are 26% below full strength, on April 24; a daily report on serviceable tank strengths in Libya, for April 22; that operations on the Eastern Front are causing the Germans difficulties in providing reinforcements for North Africa, on April 22; on a German appreciation of British tank usage in Libya, on April 24; on German intelligence appreciations of the British order of battle in Libya and Syria, on April 24; on the useability of sea-plane bases in Copenhagen, Schleswig and Marienehe, on April 30; that the Germans are anticipating a large-scale attack on north Norway from April 30; Naval Headlines; a German police report on the results of an air raid on Rostock, on April 29; the Japanese minister in Stockholm reports rumours of German peace feelers, on April 24; the Japanese minister in Sofia reports that the Germans are training Soviet prisoners of war to return to Russia for subversion, on April 24; and the Portuguese minister reports a rumour of Germany making an approach to the U.S., on April 25.
