A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of a German Air Force (GAF)-Rommel dispute over Flak forces being required for use against tanks, on April 19; and that the Germans are to employ paratroops against Tobruk, on April 19; on North Africa: of a GAF bombing attack on Tobruk on April 25; on the Southern Russian Front: of GAF instructions on the use of anti-personnel bombs, on April 24; on the Northern Russian Front: that the GAF 5th Air Fleet is to concentrate all their efforts on the Murmansk area, on April 25; from the French minister in Dublin on views on Allied plans for an offensive, on April 21; and from the Turkish ambassador in Rome on Italian misgivings about the German spring offensive in the U.S.S.R., on April 22.
