This file includes the following reports: that a trolley for 2000kg bombs is urgently required in Berca, on April 4; a report of damage caused by an RAF raid in Libya on April 7; that Kesselring is to arrive in Berca on April 7; an air reconnaissance report for April 7 on North Africa, the Capuzzo area, the road from Sidi Barrani to Sollum, and Alexandria; on photographic reconnaissance of Haifa and Beirut, for April 6; that the air fleet is to carry out reconnaissance or close escort duties in the Black Sea in support of operations, on April 6; that the 5th Air Corps has been resubordinated to the 4th Air Fleet, on April 3; a report for April 7 from the 2nd Panzer Army on mixed fortunes in the face of Soviet attacks along the central area of the Russian Front; a German secret service report of strong Soviet defences being constructed in and around Moscow, from March 26; and on the 8th Air Corps' intentions for April 8, including attacks on Soviet rail traffic and installations, and close defensive support for the 4th Army in the central sector of the Russian Front.
