Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: on German Air Force (GAF) reconnaissance and operations for April 1; on GAF reconnaissance of British motorized transport and tanks, on April 1; on a GAF bombing attack on March 31; on North Africa: the GAF are permitting the resumption of JU transport flights on April 2; on the Mediterranean: that GAF aircraft are to attack at dawn, on April 2; on GAF preparations for an attack on a convoy on April 2; on the GAF's failure to find the target convoy on April 2; on GAF operations and reconnaissance for April 1; that the GAF were unable to shadow a convoy on April 1; and that Kesselring fears convoys may be bound for Crete and orders reconnaissance on April 2; on Malta, the Mediterranean and North Africa: on GAF operations and reconnaissance for March 31; Naval Headlines: on German operations against Arctic convoys; and from the Italian consul in Adana on an expected invasion of the Hatay, on March 27; with the Prime Minister's (PM) query on this to the Chief of the Imperial General Staff (CIGS); CIGS presumes an Axis invasion and says there is no evidence, on April 2.
