A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of a discussion of the fuel supply for the Africa Corps, on March 29; that the German Air Force (GAF) require anti-aircraft reinforcement of Derna, on March 31; and that the GAF order anti-aircraft operations at Benghazi to be expanded, on March 31; on the Mediterranean: on GAF reconnaissance of shipping for March 31; and the Italians report that their own steamship was torpedoed on March 31; on the Russian Front: that the GAF have no aircraft to attack Soviet submarines in the Black Sea, on March 30; from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin, to the Japanese ambassador in Ankara, on Japanese policy on India on March 27; from the Turkish military attaché in Kuibyshev on Japanese plans in the Far East; and from the Turkish ambassador in Tokyo on Japanese preparations for war with the Soviet Union, on March 30.
