A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: the German Air Force (GAF) are to hit rolling stock and installations rather than the open line, on March 27; and a GAF report and intentions for March 28; from the French ambassador in Washington on Anglo-U.S. friction, on March 24; from Japan, a message from Tokyo to Berlin on policy towards Brazil, on March 24; the Japanese ambassador in Berlin reports Hitler's views on naval strength, on March 24; with a comment on this from the Prime Minister (PM) to the First Sea Lord (ISL); from the Turkish ambassador in Kuibyshev on German pressure on Bulgaria, on March 23; and from the Turkish ambassador in Vichy on the German attitude to Vichy-U.S. relations, on March 24; and on Franco-German relations, on March 24.
