This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a Panzer Army report for March 11; two replies by the Chief of the Imperial General Staff (CIGS) to the Prime Minister's (PM's) queries; a Naval Headlines report of March 20 on German (the Admiral Hipper is going to Norway) and Italian activity; and from the Portuguese minister in Ankara, on a Turkish plan for an understanding between Great Britain and Germany to isolate the U.S.S.R. and Japan, on March 16.
