Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Russian Front: a German Air Force (GAF) fighter formation is being prepared for tropical service, on March 16; Naval Headlines, covering German and Italian activity; from the Japanese minister in Lisbon, on a BBC report of Japanese atrocities in Hong Kong, on March 10; from the Chilean ambassador in Berlin, on the German situation in the U.S.S.R. as of March 10; and from the Japanese minister in Lisbon on the British intention to attack, from March 11.
