A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: Naval Headlines, covering Italian activity; from the Greek minister in Kuibyshev, on the views of the retiring Japanese ambassador that Germany cannot defeat the U.S.S.R. and that Japan will not intervene, from March 16; from the Italian ambassador in Tokyo on Japanese policy towards India; from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin on the Dutch reaction to the loss of the Dutch East Indies, on March 14; from the Chilean ambassador in Berlin on the German military situation, on March 9; and from the Japanese minister in Madrid on Allied plans to invade Europe in the spring, from March 12.
