Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Russian front: a German 6th Corps report of Soviet advances on March 5; a German 4th Army report of March 5 regarding withdrawal; part of a 6th Corps report of March 5 about the enemy's advance; a German Air Force (GAF) report of March 5 on the ground forces situation and the withdrawal; a 59th Corps report of March 5; a report on SS Division counter-attacks, on March 5; fragments of German ground forces reports for March 5; intelligence on the German 46th Corps' intentions on March 5; a report of the German 9th Corps on the situation being critical for the 53rd Infantry Division, on March 5; a German report of March 6 reporting the repulse of attacks; and a GAF 4th Air Fleet report on changes due to the strained transport situation, on March 6.
