This file includes the following report: from the Turkish ambassador in Tokyo on rumours that Japan will attack the Soviets, saying that despite anxiety over Germany's position on the Russian Front, Japan is extended and short of ships and aircraft; the Prime Minister ordered this to be sent on to Roosevelt, on February 28.
