A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a German Air Force (GAF) report on the ground situation on the Russian Front, February 28; and a Naval Headlines report for March 1 on German and Italian activity. This file also includes the following messages: from the Turkish minister in Budapest on Hungarian policy in the Balkans and Hungarian forces to be sent to the Russian Front, from February 27; a note from the Brazilian ambassador in Madrid that Spain was to cease exports to Germany, on February 27; and a message from the French minister in Budapest to Vichy on Hungarian-Bulgarian negotiations with regard to Turkey, from February 26.
