Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following BONIFACE reports on North Africa: that positions in Jedabya had been occupied by the Italians on December 25 in a withdrawal plan, and were attacked by British forces with strong fighter support, and Me109 serviceability was bad; that German aircraft from Greece had mined Benghazi harbour as of December 25; and that Kesselring had been informed of problems of transferring Ju88 aircraft to Africa and maintaining their serviceability on December 25.
