Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following BONIFACE reports: that Italian rearguards were 50 km south of Benghazi as of December 24 and that the Fliegerfuehrer's Battle HQ was to move to Antoniera; the 10th Air Corps report for December 24; that Ju52 aircraft were to carry fuel to Tripoli in a shuttle service from December 24; operational orders for the 10th Air Corps for December 25, to support the flank of Panzer Group, to carry out photo-reconnaissance of Benghazi harbour, to continue to supply Bardia and Sollum, and to repeat the mining operation of Benghazi harbour; a quote from the 4th Air Fleet of a secret agent's report of a Soviet intention to attempt a landing north of Kerch at an unknown date, from December 22; and instructions to the 2nd Panzer Group to send details of tank status and serviceability for the attention of Hitler on December 21.
