A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the 10th Air Corps was ordered to resume airdrops of supplies to Sollum on December 20; that fuel stocks were low in Sirte, Buerat and Misurata on December 18; on German Air Force (GAF) operational orders for December 20 including the protection of the Africa Corps, Benghazi-Benina, and the destruction of British columns advancing on Agedabia; a GAF report for December 20 including reconnaissance and interpretation of photo-reconnaissance flights, support for Rommel's forces and escort for damaged destroyers, and a proposal by the 10th Air Corps to use the area south of Berka for Ju52 aircraft and Marua for Ju88 on December 19-20; that the GAF Supply HQ was to move to Misurata on December 20; a report from Kesselring indicating that the British sea force had retired in the direction of Tobruk, that there were no indications of a British intention to land at Sirte, and that the difficulties in delivering fuel were not yet solved and Ju52s were continuing to deliver fuel as of December 19; that GAF Staff established their advanced battle HQ at Benghazi and an administrative HQ at Sirte on December 19; that a German Panzer Group had moved west on December 19; on GAF intentions for December 20 including fighter protection of the Africa Corps and attacks on British forces attempting envelopment of the southern flank; that the battle HQ of Fliegerfuehrer was to move from Maraua to Benina; that the supply ships Neghelli and Aprilia were carrying fuel and equipment for North Africa via Piraeus and Suda on December 20; that British airfields were to be attacked by Ju88 aircraft from Greece on December 20; and a strength and serviceability return for Ju52 transport aircraft of the 10th Air Corps from December 19.
