Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following BONIFACE reports: the 10th Air Corps' report that the supply situation at Sollum is extremely strained and a request to provide a supply drop and to attack British artillery positions on December 16 and 17; on a success by the British forces in making a break in the Gazala position and a report of 800 British prisoners taken as of December 16; of the death of the commander of the 15th Panzer Division in Derna on December 9; on the order of 100 lorries to transport munitions and equipment to Sicily from December 17; and a German Air Force (GAF) report of two torpedo hits on a British cruiser on December 17.
