Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE report that three auxiliary sailing vessels were carrying ammunition and supplies en route for Bardia on December 13; a BONIFACE report from North Africa that fuel supplies were exhausted at Lower Sollum on December 11 and that new supplies were to be flown in on December 14-15; a BONIFACE report that Italian destroyers were refusing to transport aviation fuel from December 13; a BONIFACE report that Bueffel was to carry personnel, tanks, fuel and other supplies from Taranto to Benghazi on December 13; and a BONIFACE report on the Russian Front on a 2nd Army assessment of Soviet intentions to roll up the fronts of the 35th Army Corps and 2nd Panzer Army with the probable object of a breakthrough towards Orel from December 13.
