Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a German Air Force (GAF) report on ground forces on the Moscow Front on December 10; a GAF report that Klin aerodrome was not available due to the military situation on December 11; a German 56th Army Corps report of Soviet attacks in the Klin area from December 10; a report from the Japanese ambassador in Rio on Brazil's attitude in the event of a Japanese-U.S. war from December 1; a note from the Japanese ambassador in Buenos Aires on Japan-Argentina relations on December 5; instructions from Tokyo to the ambassador in Vichy on facilities to be accorded in French Indo-China from December 7; a note from the Turkish ambassador in Rome on the rumour of agreement between Turkey, England and the U.S. from December 8; a message from the Turkish ambassador in Kuibyshev on the Sikorski-Stalin agreement of December 8; a report from the Turkish ambassador in Kuibyshev on the situation at the Russian Front as of December 8; intelligence that the Turkish ambassador in Berlin had received a present from Ribbentrop on December 10; a report from the Italian ambassador in Washington on U.S. relations with Italy on December 9; contingency instructions from Italy to South American posts on the destruction of ciphers and documents from December 9; a Brazilian refusal to represent Japanese interests in Calcutta and Pretoria from December 9; and a note from the Japanese ambassador in Bangkok on the agreement enforced on Thailand from December 8.
