The file contains the following reports: intelligence that the German Air Force (GAF) Air Officer Commanding (AOC) South in North Africa was forbidding the use of aerodromes during RAF attacks, except for important operations on December 9; a GAF report that all means were being used to deliver aviation fuel from December 9; and a low GAF aviation fuel return from December 9. This file also includes intelligence that GAF Air Staff were concerned at aircraft unserviceability in two units of the 10th Air Corps in the Mediterranean on December 2; a GAF order for the urgent turn around of a tanker to supply the GAF in Sicily on December 9; and a report on a GAF shortage of oil in Greece due to transport difficulties with Romania from December 9. This file also includes a Naval Headlines report on German and Italian activity; a report from the Italian embassy in Bangkok on Japanese successes in Malaya from December 9; instructions to the Japanese ambassador in Rio de Janeiro on the destruction of ciphers and secret documents from December 8; and a message from the Turkish ambassador in Berlin on Hitler's probable intention to declare war on the U.S. on December 10.
