This files includes the following reports: that the German Air Force (GAF) 10 Air Corps finds it impracticable to employ Condor aircraft in the Mediterranean from December 7; from the GAF in North Africa that additional flying units means additional aviation fuel and that destroyers are to be used for transhipment, from December 7; that all German motor transports are to be marked for identification by aircraft from December 7; that GAF fighters are to be sent to protect Navarino at Crete on December 7; on targets for December 8 for GAF bombers at Athens; and Naval Headlines reports on Italian activity. The file also includes a note from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin reporting that he has received a news report of Japanese-U.S. war and that Ribbentrop says Germany and Italy will participate.
