This file includes the following reports: that Tokyo instructed the Japanese ambassador in London to destroy his cypher machine on December 1; from Chungking to the Chinese Embassy in London on Japanese-U.S. talks, on November 30; from the Chinese ambassador in Kuibyshev on the war situation, on December 1; Naval Headlines, reporting on German activity; on North Africa: the German Air Force (GAF) was asked urgently to fly anti-aircraft gun-barrels to Benghazi on December 2; that Panzer Group Africa places the highest priority on the air transport of armour piercing shells, on December 2; and a GAF operations and reconnaissance report for December 1-2.
