Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a German report of December 1; on the Mediterranean: German Air Force (GAF) orders on the supply of air torpedoes in December; that the 2nd Air Fleet is to move from the Russian Front; that the GAF are in urgent need of torpedoes on December 2; and a GAF report of Soviet vessels in the Bosphorus on November 28-29; on North Africa: the GAF are to fly anti-tank guns and crews to Derna from Crete on December 1; Benghazi informed the GAF on November 30 that the transport of fuel was the most urgent priority, and also the rest of a special unit; on North Africa: of an urgent request for anti-personnel bombs on December 2; a GAF fuel return for December 2; that Italian destroyers dumped aviation fuel for Derna on December 2; a GAF report on shipping supplies, including that an Italian submarine is en route to Derna with aviation fuel on December 2; and on the Russian Front: of GAF intentions for December 1-2; and on GAF withdrawals to Mariupol.
