A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of a German withdrawal to Tripoli on November 29; that Hitler orders the withdrawal of the new armour piercing shell and special security precautions, on November 18; and that Hitler considers a German attack on Tobruk should be postponed until the arrival of air reinforcements.
