Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following unlisted reports taken to be on North Africa: a German Air Force (GAF) air operations report for November 27; and of GAF air reconnaissance on November 26-27; on the Russian Front: the 1 Panzer Army situation of November 27; and the Germans report strong Russian attacks on November 27; on the Mediterranean: of the 10 Air Corps' intentions; on North Africa: that fighter replacements are to be sent by rail to Bari, on November 27; the GAF are to transport Italian aviation fuel from Tripoli to Benghazi, on November 27; Italian Air Force Mc200s are to move to Libya and Italian Air Force torpedo aircraft are to use Crete aerodrome when necessary; a GAF Me109 was lost when routed to Greece via unsuitable aerodromes, on November 27; on North Africa: GAF aviation fuel is to be brought to Benghazi by Italian submarine; GAF bomber crews are to be transferred to the Greek area on November 27; of exaggerated GAF success claims for November 27; a GAF aircraft strength return for November 27; GAF aviation fuel was shipped from Naples for Derna, on November 26; Italian destroyers are transporting GAF aviation fuel on November 27; the GAF report no damage was caused by an British air raid, on November 27; an Italian admiral's impressions of the situation, on November 27; a GAF fuel return of November 27; and on the Moscow Front: that the GAF 8 Air Corps is short of transport aircraft, on November 27.
