A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following correspondence: items taken to the Prime Minister (PM) by C. This file also includes the following report on the Russian fronts: that the Germans report the appearance of British tanks on November 26; a German report for November 25; and that the 2nd Air Corps is being withdrawn, from November 14; on North Africa: that the German Air Force (GAF) again request fuel and ammunition, on November 26; that a freighter was bombed in Benghazi on November 25; of the GAF's reconnaissance intentions for November 27, and that Benghazi harbour anti aircraft defences are to be strengthened; that the GAF are considering a transfer of bombers to the 10th Air Corps, on November 25; that the GAF general staff assembled transport aircraft to supply Africa on November 26; a German report of November 23 and intentions for November 24; a GAF strength return of November 26; of the transportation of aviation fuel from Crete to Derna on November 27-28; a GAF aviation fuel return of November 26; a GAF operations and reconnaissance report for November 25-26; a report for the evening of November 26; an Italian report of a fuel delivery to Benghazi on November 23-25; and that the GAF are to attack British motor transport on November 26; and on the Mediterranean: a report of German concerns over not letting Russian ships escape from the Black Sea, from November 26.
