A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: German Air Force (GAF) fighters have withdrawn to Sicily; glider-towing aircraft and gliders have been allotted to the GAF, on November 24; of German military reinforcements on November 24; of GAF re-equipment requirements, pressing for the air transport of armour-piercing ammunition; of the requirement for aircraft supplies on November 24; that the Germans are able to supply Derna with submarines, on November 24; that supreme command over Italian troops has been transferred to the Germans on November 24; on the GAF fuel supply, that the transport of anti-tank guns inhibits GAF supplies, on November 21; and on the Mediterranean: that the Italian Navy confirmed its submarine programme, on November 24.
