A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: the German Air Force (GAF) transferred a flying boat to supply Africa on November 22; a fragment of GAF intentions for November 22; of GAF air operations on November 21-22; that GAF supply traffic to Benghazi was prohibited; the GAF Commander in Chief requests 10th Air Corps strength returns for November 22; that the Italian Air Force at Tripoli was given GAF aviation fuel on November 22; that the GAF is anxious about the British advance, on November 22; that the GAF is to reconnaissance the Cyrenaica coast on November 23; of GAF air operations on November 22; that the GAF are preparing to evacuate Gambut on November 22; a German report of November 21; and a German report of November 21 and request for bomber support. This file also includes 14 messages (not listed) already telephoned to the Prime Minister (PM) (2 to DNI under C/8142).
