A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of German protection of Benghazi aerodrome, on November 22; that German Air Force (GAF) fighters are to move from Sicily to Benina on November 22; of GAF operations and intentions on November 22; that GAF fighters are to move from Crete to Derna on November 22; on the Mediterranean: GAF arrangements for escorts for transports flying from Italy to Benina, on November 22; on North Africa: a GAF report of an RAF attack on Benina, on November 20; on the Russian Front: a GAF appreciation of Soviet air strength and operations, on November 20; of evidence for the move of a long-range bomber from Greece to Sicily on November 22; and on North Africa: a report that the GAF battle HQ is to move to Derna, on November 22; and a GAF reconnaissance report on British positions on November 22.
