Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: the German Air Force (GAF) Commander in Chief (C-in-C) deals with the move of staff to a fighter unit; a German report on the enemy advance Stu446/T9 is not included, see 8107; a report from the Vichy ambassador in Washington on an interview with Roosevelt to complain about British restrictions on aid to PoWs and communication with French colonies, on November 10; that the Japanese consul in Hong Kong asks about the rumour of Sino-Japanese peace negotiations; from the Mexican minister in Berlin on the German internal situation; from the Brazilian minister in Stockholm on German difficulties in the U.S.S.R.; from the Turkish minister in Madrid on the Spanish view of the war situation; and from the Turkish consul in Moscow on the situation in Moscow, on November 16.
