A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: that Soviet attacks are having local success in the Moscow sector, from November 14; that German forces are under continuous air attack on the Leningrad Front on November 18; of an extreme shortage of aviation fuel in Russia, particularly on the Moscow Front, on November 19; that Soviet armoured forces broke through German lines in front of Moscow on November 18; that Soviet aircraft were very active against 12th Army Corps; of the German intention to attack with the 46th, 5th and 7th Army Corps and Group Geyer on November 19; a correction to the numbers of British prisoners taken following the shooting down of a Bombay aircraft on November 11; and Naval Headlines, covering various Italian convoys being delayed, and an important British convoy reported to be sailing westward, probably to Tobruk.
