This file includes the following reports: a 9th Army report of November 16 on heavy fighting in the Kalinin area; of the activities of the 47th Panzer Corps, 53rd Army Corps, 24th Panzer Corps, and 43rd Army Corps for November 16; that the fuel state is very low; on Crimea for November 16: Kerch was captured with fighting continuing north of Balaclava; of 4th Air Fleet special orders for air reconnaissances on November 15 over southern Ukraine and the Caucasus; of the 4th Air Fleet's operational orders for November 16: a lack of winter equipment is hindering attack; attacks are to continue on shipping between Crimea and the Caucasus; the 4th Air Corps is to eliminate the Red Air Force in the Sevastopol area and reconnoitre Voroshilovgrad; a report of fighting in the sector south west of Moscow on November 16; a situation report on operations in Russia issued by the supreme command of the army on November 17; that a German bomber unit is to return to France from the Russian Front; a situation report on Yugoslavia, for November 15; that the German Air Force (GAF) in the Rostov sector and Crimea is short of fuel, on November 17; that Wuersburg and Freya radio location equipment are urgently needed in North Africa because of the increasingly critical air situation, on November 17; that General Rommel is to return to Africa from Greece on November 18; that a Bombay aircraft was shot down near Gaala on November 17; and that 35 RAF prisoners are to be flown out to Greece on November 18.
