Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: that tank bridges are to be completed in Benghazi by November 15; on Yugoslavia: of insurgents fighting in Croatia, and eastern and central Bosnia, on November 12; of the 8th Air Corps preparing for a destructive air attack on Rybinsk when the weather improves, on November 14; on the Russian Front: that German attacks in Crimea have been held up by lack of ammunition and weather conditions; that the German Army is regrouping in the Moscow area; that a Soviet attack from Leningrad was repulsed with heavy losses on November 13; of the 4th Air Fleet's operational orders for November 14; that the 11th Army entered Kerch; that the 4th Air Fleet is to continue to support the 11th Army and 1st Panzer Army; that fifty single-engined aircraft are to transfer to North Africa via Bari and Athens, beginning on November 20; of RAF raids on Benghazi, Benina and Derna, on November 13-14; and that the 10th Air Corps is short of transport aircraft on November 14.
