This file includes the following reports: of the Italian submarine Atropo carrying fuel to Bardia on November 15 or 17; that the Italian navy and military are carrying out patrols in expectation of a British landing in the Ras Hilal area; that the Italians were short of transport aircraft between Greece and Italy on November 2; an Italian verbatim report of a patriotic speech made in the Afghan Assembly on November 6; an Italian report of Afghan Assembly proceedings relative to the war situation from November 11; a Japanese report on internal Italian views on the war, from October 14; a Japanese analysis of U.S. popular feeling regarding the war, from November 4; of Japanese notification of new articles of the Anti-Comintern Pact on November 11; a Turkish report from Moscow on November 12; and a Turkish report of the arrival of civilian refugees, and remnants of the Soviet fleet in Batumi on November 12.
