Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: of the 11th Army supported by the 4th Air Fleet attacking Sevastopol from the south on November 12-13; for November 11 on the Kalinin sector; on the Russian Front for November 11; a daily report on North Africa, for November 11: on two Italian divisions being moved to areas south and southwest of Tobruk, and the strengths of the German 15th and 21st Panzer Divisions; that the 21st Army Corps was issued with wire cutters, to get mine detectors and tank bridges, on November 11; German intelligence reports that the Soviet fleet is to move to Turkey after operating against Romanian harbours; that British built and manned Turkish submarines are to pass from the U.K. to Turkey via the Mediterranean; and on Yugoslavia: that hostages were shot in Serbia on November 11.
