Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: the 42nd Army Corps report bad road conditions and that a thrust eastwards was achieved, made against light Soviet ground resistance but heavy air attacks, on November 8; the German Air Force (GAF) supply in Benghazi report damage caused by an RAF raid on November 10-11; the supply ships Procida and Maritza, carrying fuel, ammunition and supplies for Benghazi, are to leave Taranto for Piraeus on November 11; and an evening report for November 10 from Fliegerfuehrer, Africa, includes sea reconnaissance flights, and raids on Wadi Auda and Sidi Barrani.
