This file includes the following reports: a situation report for the Moscow Front on November 8, detailing that icy roads are difficult, an advance is being held up, and the critical supply position is improving; a report of air activity over the Crimea area on November 9, with a supply ship being damaged by a mine; confirmation of the sinking of all ships in a convoy by a British force, on November 10; that French anti-tank guns for German forces in Africa are en route to Piraeus, on November 12, with onward transport to Derna possibly by gliders; that motor transport vehicles for Panzer Group Africa are being bought in Algiers; Naval Headlines, covering the Italian convoy Mistrale being attacked by a British force consisting of the Aurora, Penelope, Lance and Lively, and an Italian admiral commanding the 3rd Cruiser Division reporting that all ships of the convoy were set on fire; and further Naval Headlines, covering the admiral commanding U-boats issuing an estimate of the tonnage sunk in recent attacks, the activities and deployment of U-boats in the Atlantic, and the possibility that Scheer may break through into the Atlantic.
