This file includes the following reports: a convoy including the Biene, San Marco and Pisani is reported to have left Naples on November 7; a German Air Force (GAF) fighter unit was transferred from Catania to Misurata on November 9; of improved anti-aircraft defences for GAF airfields in Libya on November 8; an Italian report that a convoy was attacked by the Royal Navy on November 9, with all merchant ships on fire and the destroyer Fulmine sunk; an Italian air reconnaissance report for November 6-7 in Cyrenaica and a night photo reconnaissance of Malta for November 7-8; the disbanding of the German motor transport Purchasing Commission in North Africa on November 8; and the Naval Headlines, covering U-boats off Spain being redirected to seek a convoy expected from Freetown; and a war order to U-boats issued on November 9 regarding action to be taken in response to aggressive action by U.S. warships.
