A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: of German anti-aircraft reinforcements being flown to North Africa in Italian aircraft, on November 1; the 10th Air Corps reports an RAF raid on Benghazi fuel stores on November 4; a German intelligence assessment of British troops identifications and subordinations in North Africa on November 2; that Panzer Group Africa urgently requests the rapid delivery of French guns and ammunition on November 2; that German troops in Cyrenaica were warned of an expected increase in low-level air raids by the RAF, on November 2; a message from transport headquarters in Belgrade and Salonica to transport headquarters in Karlsruhe regarding railway movement, on November 3; and the Japanese ambassador in Ankara reports on German contacts with members of the Indian National Congress, on November 4.
