Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Russian fronts: that the German Air Force (GAF) Commander in Chief (C-in-C) orders secrecy concerning the 8th Air Corps operations, on October 30; on the Southern Russian Front: of air reconnaissance south of Crimea, on October 30; on the Southern Russian Front: that German labour units are to be withdrawn from Ukraine, on November 12-20; on Roumania: describing the floating battle headquarters of the 4th Air Fleet at Galatz; on the Southern Russian Front: on GAF operation orders for October 31; on North Africa: a tanker is to carry fuel to Benghazi by mid-November; on Yugoslavia: detailing German measures for a military liaison with the Italians in Croatia; from October 30, that a GAF long-range bomber unit is to be stationed at Belgrade; and on activity in Eastern Europe of the German police from October 3-13.
