Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: that 150 German motor transport vehicles are to be flown to Africa, from October 23; of the intentions of the 10th Air Corps; that bombs, ammunition and provisions for the German Air Force (GAF) are leaving Tripoli for Benghazi in Spezia, on October 23; and the Naval Headlines, covering U-boat activities in the Atlantic, off Gibraltar, and in the Mediterranean; and the Portuguese ship Cortereau being hit by torpedoes.
