A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Northern Russian Front: a German report of advances on October 16; on the Russian Front: a German situation report of October 17; and a Flakkorps II situation report of October 17; on the Southern Russian Front: a situation report of October 17; a report of preparations for an attack on Rostov; and a German Air Force (GAF) report of air operations in the West and East fronts; on the Mediterranean: a GAF report of the sinking of SS Bainsizza with GAF cargo; Naval Headlines, covering Italian naval activity and Spanish reports on the Russian Front; and the Turkish minister in Stockholm reports on Sweden's difficult relations with Germany and admiration for Turkish diplomacy.
