Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: on the Russian fronts, German Air Force (GAF) operational orders for October 15; and attacks in the Moscow area; on the Southern Russian Front, no change because of the bad weather on October 14; a German situation report of October 14; a fragmentary situation report of October 14; a German situation report for 1800 on October 14; on the Moscow Front, a German situation report of October 14 describing heavy Soviet losses; on the Northern Russian Front, a German situation report for 2100 on October 14; on the Central Russian Front, of the Bryansk-Orel Front awaiting notification of zero hour for an attack; of the roads being bad; a German situation report for October 13; and a report of attacks on Moscow's defences; and on the Russian fronts, a German situation report of October 14.
