Description

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Southern Russian Front: a German forces situation report at 1800 hours on October 12; a German forces situation report at 2100 on hours October 12; orders for the 4th Air Corps on October 13; no fuel was at German Air Force (GAF) Marinpol on October 12; on the Russian Front: GAF orders for the central sector on October 13; GAF fighters were moved to Marinpol on October 13; the battle HQ of the 10th Panzer Division moved on October 13; a German Army supreme command situation report on October 12; the location of the battle HQ 12 Flak Division on October 12; on the Moscow Front: GAF Junkers are to occupy Medyn aerodrome from October 12; and on Egypt: reporting German sigint on the strength of the RAF.
