A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: operational orders for German Air Force (GAF) fighter units on the Central Russian Front on October 11; from GAF, the 2nd Air Corps' operational orders on the Central Russian Front on 11 October; from CTAF, a fighter group is to move to Marinpol; on the Southern Russian Front, the positions reached by German ground forces on October 9; and the German advance on Rostov on October 11-October 13; on the Russian fronts, German positions on October 9; and German activity in the Bryansk-Orel area on October 8; on the Moscow Front, the German lack of transport for supplies; on Eastern Europe, German parachute troops were collecting at Ljuban on October 10; reports on operations by parachute troops are not to be published, but sent to HQ Fliegerkorps; and parachute equipment was sent by trains to Ljuban on October 4.
