Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: on the concentration of the German Air Force (GAF) in the Smolensk sector at the expense of the Ukraine Front from October 1; of the 4th Air Fleet's orders for October 1; on the 1st Panzer Division conducting mopping up operations east of Dniepropetrovsk; on 17th Army attacks, supported by the 5th Air Corps, which were slowly progressing against Kharkov; and on Marshal Rommel having a conference in Gambut on September 28 with, possibly, the Air Officer Commanding (AOC) 10th Air Corps.
