This file includes the following reports: a message about the reinforcement of the 2nd Air Fleet in the central sector of the Russian Front at the expense of the Leningrad and Ukraine Fronts; photographic reconnaissance reports of Sevastopol and the area east of Odessa; a message about the temporary transfer of bomber and fighter aircraft to Sicily from the 10th Air Corps; a report that the SS Marigola ran aground somewhere between Tripoli and Palermo; and a report that the SS Capo Faro and the Iseo were to sail from Brindisi for Benghazi with the destroyer Orione as escort on September 22. The file also includes a Naval Headlines report that the hospital ship Arno left Tripoli for Naples on September 20.
