Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following messages: a message from the Italian Embassy in Tokyo to Washington; the text of a Japanese message to Roosevelt which was being kept secret from the ambassadors of the other Axis powers; a report from the Turkish minister in Stockholm claiming that the Germans will occupy Leningrad, Moscow and Kharkov by the winter; and a report by the Italian ambassador in Washington of President Roosevelt's Labor Day speech, noting the lack of a reference to Japan and the Pacific.
