A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: on requests from the German 2nd Army for aerial photography of the area around Kharkov; reports from the 8th Air Corps of harassing attacks on roads and railways south of Lake Ladoga; on the necessity for support for the 20 Infantry Division and 12 Panzer Division while destroying gunboats on the River Neva; and a situation report for the 2nd Army operating south west of Gomel.
